Our parish will receive two-thirds of all the funds we receive up to our campaign goal of $66,000 and 90% of all money raised over our goal. Here is how we intend to use our share:

The Renovation of Bellamy House

Care of the historic Bellamy House is of primary need. Support to Living Our Mission will ensure we can address several critical needs:

Installation of storm attic windows:

This change will reduce heating/cooling operating costs, prevent structural damage, and provide protection for furnishings
and items stored in the house.

Replace kitchen electrical wiring:

The 100-year-old wiring must be updated to handle the demands for electricity in today’s world. This wiring will ensure we have the capacity to meet equipment needs, lighting, and use of personal electronic equipment.

Repair kitchen walls and ceiling:

Take existing walls down to the studs and then resurface with dry wall. The change will remove the existing dark paneling that was installed to cover damage to the old plaster walls. This change will brighten the rooms and make more welcoming.

Meeting future needs:

A portion of the campaign will be preserved to a savings account to provide initial funding for future parish needs. These funds will be retained and preserved until such time the Pastoral Council, Finance Council, and Pastor identify a special need.

The parishes that make up the Central Virginia Catholic Cluster, proudly stand as a symbol of all that the Catholic Church represents here in southside Virginia. Parts of our Cluster go back over 100 years. With all the grace God has blessed us in our parish communities, we once more have an opportunity in participating in, Living Our Mission Campaign, and all it will due, to help the Diocese of Richmond continue to spread God’s message in many ways throughout the diocese and our area.
