Case for Support Breakdown Campaign Goal: $63,000

Our parish will receive two-thirds of all the proceeds we receive up to our campaign goal of $63,000 and a bonus level of ninety percent of the funds raised over our goal. Here is how we intend to use our share:

Case Element 1: Parish General Maintenance Fund – $28,000

Parish churches bring us together in the formation of a Catholic community to celebrate the Eucharist and build Christian fellowship with our friends and neighbors. St. Anthony’s must meet future building maintenance needs in order to remain a safe and comfortable place of welcoming with such an important role in our faith life. Some anticipated maintenance needs include addressing water and termite damage to the church front walls and entrances. Through the Living Our Mission campaign, we hope to raise $28,000 to establish a general maintenance fund to meet these and future needs.

Case Element 2: Youth Ministry and Evangelization – $14,000

Young Catholics face serious challenges to fully living their faith, especially now in an environment of spiritual and cultural crisis. Resources are urgently needed to effectively educate, support, and build connections among young people who are the future of our Church. Through the Living Our Mission campaign, we hope to raise $14,000 for urgent evangelization needs such as televisions / DVD players and Internet access for all parishes in Holy Trinity cluster (which will facilitate distance learning and education), a commercial-grade copy machine for producing educational materials, and ongoing funding for youth and campus ministry. These resources will also benefit the faith formation of all parishioners regardless of age,an essential part of our mission.

The Living Our Mission campaign will enable the Trinity Cluster to maintain a Catholic presence in far southwest Virginia, providing a church family home for Catholics and all the good Appalachian people. Your generosity will enable this home mission area to continue to share the Catholic blessings of the Word and the Eucharist.
